Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Correctional Site Access Control in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors.

This full-time position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, with day and night shifts as listed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Correctional Site Access Controlin Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and access-control activity, document observations, and communicate professionally with visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
