Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Licensed Driver Bicycle Patrol in Birmingham, AL. You will perform driving and bicycle patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate site.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting anomalies, and following site procedures with a calm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps support an orderly environment for tenants, visitors, and employees.
