Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Guard House Access in Mesa, AZ. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents at an automotive manufacturing location.

This full-time role emphasizes clear communication, customer service, and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, employee entrances, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
