Job summary

NSG, Inc. is seeking Security Officers for 3rd shift at a Clifton facility. Position starts 11/3, Tuesday through Saturday, 11pm-7am (40 hours/week). Must pass pre-employment background check and pass drug screen.

Compensation is $17.00 per hour with weekly pay every Friday. Perform rounds, monitor entrances, respond to emergencies, and maintain secure premises. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong observation, clear communication, calmness under pressure, and the ability

Qualifications

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Authoritative verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
Proficient operation of radio or telephone equipment.
Professional and cordial interaction with the public.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled walking rounds of the facilities, both outside and inside.
Monitor property entrance/exit posts, inspect property and monitor visitors.
Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency and report to NSG leadership.
De-escalate situations and use Verbo Judo techniques to defuse conflict verbally.
After business hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
Report suspicious activity and incidents to NSG leadership and authorities, and guide unwanted individuals off premises.
