Job summary

NSG, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for 3rd shift at our Clifton facility in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure environment for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring entrances, enforcing access control, and responding to incidents. You must pass background checks, obtain an Ohio security license, and be available to work Tue-Sat 11pm-7am. Competitive pay and weekly payroll are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Must be able to obtain a security license through the state of Ohio.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled walking rounds of the facilities, both outside and inside.
• Monitor property entrance/exit posts, inspect property and monitor visitors.
• Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency and inform NSG leadership.
• De-escalate situations using Verbo Judo techniques to defuse conflict verbally.
• After business hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
• Report suspicious activity to NSG leadership and property owners.
• Guide discharged staff, trespassers, and unwelcome parties off the premises.
• Provide a visible and reassuring presence to deter threats.
