Job summary

Fairmount Homes is a faith-based Continuing Care Retirement Community located in rural Ephrata, PA, seeking a Security | Maintenance Team Member to join the night crew. You will help ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors while supporting emergency response operations.

Located on a 70+ acre campus, the role involves night rounds, incident response, and light maintenance tasks with opportunities to contribute to a caring, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to monitor and respond to emergencies.
• Capable of light maintenance tasks.
• Able to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine interior and exterior security rounds of campus buildings and grounds.
• Monitor entrances, parking lots, doors, and security systems.
• Respond to security concerns, emergencies, and alarm notifications.
• Assist with fire drills, alarms, and other emergency situations.
• Escort team members, visitors, emergency personnel, and service providers as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding security, safety, or emergency concerns.
• Monitor weather conditions and communicate important updates.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance calls and perform light maintenance tasks.
• Assist with resident transfers and facility support as appropriate.
• Complete daily logs, reports, and required documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and corporate compliance.
