Job summary

Fairmount Homes, Inc in Ephrata, PA is hiring a Personal Care Resident Assistant (Level 1) for 18 hours per week with evening shifts. This role supports residents transitioning from independent living to assisted living, delivering compassionate care and building meaningful relationships on a faith-based campus.

You will work evenings 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM with differential pay and must complete Med Tech certification within 90 days. Join a collaborative team dedicated to dignity and community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, mobility).
• Provide care according to Resident Assessment and Support Plan (RASP).
• Support residents with light housekeeping, laundry, room tidiness, and assistance stockings.
• Assist with resident activities and engagement programs as needed.
• Support dining services by serving beverages, delivering meals, and assisting during mealtimes.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other records.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and other care needs.
