Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of experience in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a Lieutenant of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel; ensures post orders are followed and reports are filed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees and documents actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders with subordinates.
• Assists in submitting payroll and personnel information.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits reports; inspects posts and outlines tasks.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide customer service.
• May perform supervisory duties: interviewing, orienting and training; planning and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; hiring decisions.
