The role requires calm, decisive communication, strong incident response skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and event weekends. Valid driver's license and security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous security, law enforcement, military, emergency response, dispatch, or related experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong radio communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, guests, vendors, and emergency personnel.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision during overnight hours.
• Ability to document incidents accurately and objectively.
• Must be dependable and able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and Road America event weekends.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead security presence during evening and overnight shifts.
• Direct guest services and event security personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of property, parking, camping areas, gates and facilities.
• Monitor for unauthorized access and safety hazards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd control and maintaining order when necessary.
• Maintain logs of incidents, patrols, and activities.
• Open and close security procedures as assigned.
