Job summary

First Coast Security is seeking a dedicated Security Control Room Operator for overnight shifts in Oklahoma. The role focuses on monitoring CCTV/alarms, dispatching officers, and documenting incidents to ensure facility safety and compliance.

The operator will monitor life-safety systems, respond to events, and coordinate with security staff and other departments, maintaining logs and controlling room equipment and keys.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring CCTV and alarms.
• Ability to document incidents clearly and promptly.
• Capable of directing staff during emergencies.
• Familiarity with security communications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and alarms and dispatch officers.
• Submit incident reports and logs.
• Monitor security, communications and life-safety systems.
• Proactively monitor surveillance and CCTV viewer programs.
• Respond to all system alarms and events.
• Answer calls over phones/intercoms; provide direction during emergencies.
• Liaise between security and other departments.
• Log equipment and key custody; report missing/damaged items.
• Create maintenance work orders for reported issues.
• Inform supervisor of any equipment or system issues.
• Manage two-way communications and emergency notifications.
