Job summary

Allied Universal in Ingleside, TX is seeking a Security Officer Access Management Driver for a full-time, on-site position. The role supports client access control at a manufacturing and industrial site, requiring a valid driver’s license and a TSA-issued TWIC.

You will ensure security procedures, verify credentials, and provide customer service. The position involves monitoring entry points, issuing badges, patrolling areas, and responding calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, issue access badges, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, exterior areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
