Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, technical, industrial, automotive, military, or related environment OR a two-year technical degree

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust and repair seamer equipment to maintain standards and seam quality.
• Perform seam checks as scheduled and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on filling-area equipment.
• Assist the Chief Seamer Mechanic with rebuilds and repairs.
• Weld, braze and repair parts and equipment as needed.
• Operate nibblers, grinders, drill presses and abrasive cut-off machines.
• Work hours: 6 PM–6 AM.
