Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Sanitation Worker in Smyrna, GA to support the production of premium desserts. You will follow GMP, SSOPs and eight steps of sanitation to maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include collaborating with other departments, handling chemicals safely, and lifting/moving equipment as needed. The role requires standing for long periods and adaptability in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food safety and quality practices.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule incl. overtime and end-of-week deep cleaning.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours daily.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies.
• Work with sanitation team and other departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn to clean and sanitize food production equipment and environment.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
