Ventura Foods is hiring for a Nights - 12 Hr Shift Sanitation role in Saint Joseph, MO. The hourly, on-site position focuses on cleaning production equipment, sanitizing processing areas, and maintaining GMP compliance to ensure safe, high-quality products.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of sanitation experience preferred, and strong reading, math, and communication skills. You will operate forklifts as needed and participate in training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in sanitation, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
• Prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
• Must possess good reading and math skills to perform job requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination are required.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from production equipment and disassemble/assemble as needed.
• Clean processing tanks, vats, and filters; replace filters as required.
• Maintain daily sanitation and assist with equipment upkeep.
• Sweep and mop floors with sanitation chemicals; manage waste disposal.
