Job summary

Daily’s Premium Meats is seeking a Sanitation Technician Lead to oversee nightly plant sanitation, cleaning and sanitizing packaging equipment and surfaces, and to guide and mentor team members. The role requires physical stamina to work on concrete floors and lift up to 50 pounds in a cold, wet environment.

Shifts are typically Sunday through Thursday or Friday, 10:30 pm to 6 am, with hours varying by business need.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct employees on the sanitation shift.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, production areas and surfaces.
• Maintain sanitation records and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and sanitizers.
