Daily’s Premium Meats is seeking a Sanitation Technician to perform nightly plant sanitation. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing packaging equipment and surfaces in a cold, wet environment with 42-degree average temperatures.

Work requires physical stamina to stand/walk on concrete floors for eight hours and lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional up to 75 pounds. Training in Safety and Lock Out Tag Out is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or related experience.
• Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and work on concrete floors.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and sanitation safety is required.
• Ability to work in cold/wet environments and in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize processing equipment, production areas, and surfaces according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily duties such as mopping, scrubbing, and drying equipment and facilities, navigating around machine belts, chains, conveyors, and other systems as needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and apply them effectively.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and functionality, reporting issues for timely repair.
• Manage waste disposal following company policies and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Nightly sanitation of the entire plant, focusing on cleaning and sanitizing machines, equipment and surfaces.
