Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Safety Technician to inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure safety standards and government regulations are met. The role also involves conducting safety meetings and trainings to maintain compliance across the facility.

The candidate will participate in post-accident investigations, assist with accident documentation, and support management with safety program improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to perform duties outside normal area to meet warehouse goals.
• Proficient in data collection and reporting KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure safety standards.
• Evaluate programs on workplace safety and health.
• Demonstrate correct use of safety equipment.
• Conduct safety meetings and trainings to ensure facility safety compliance.
• Lead post-accident investigations and recommend preventive actions.
• Driver retraining and recertification when necessary.
• First Responder for shift.
• Inform Leadership team of safety and health issues.
