Advocate Health is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to support Atrium Health Cleveland with night-time patient observation. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, 7p-7a shifts, and a pay range of $18.85-$28.30 per hour, with benefits eligibility.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, CPI certification, and hospital experience is preferred. You will document observations, communicate with RNs, and ensure a safe, ligature-free environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • CPI certification required prior to conducting patient observation.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

  • Maintain a safe environment and observe patients as delegated by the RN.
  • Document observations and pertinent information accurately.
  • Perform handoff communication with the RN regarding patient information.
  • Assist nursing staff in maintaining ligature-free environments and notify RN of patient safety needs.
  • Foster professional communication between patients and staff and adhere to policies.
