Job summary

Gemstar Manufacturing, a division of Gemini, Inc., is seeking a Rotocast Machine Operator for our Cannon Falls, MN facility. The role requires setting up rotocasting equipment, loading molds, measuring materials, and maintaining quality control.

You will work 2nd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with overtime as needed. The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Must read and follow work instructions and drawings.
Basic ability to operate computers and machine control panels.
Flexible to work in multiple areas as needed.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate rotocasting machines, molds, ovens, cooling systems and related equipment.
Prepare and measure resins, powders, additives and other materials according to formulas.
Input proper operational cycles per work orders.
Load and secure molds and verify setup before production.
Adjust cycle times, temperatures and rotation speeds to ensure quality.
Perform demolding, trimming and finishing of molded parts.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections with calipers and gauges.
Identify defects and communicate issues to supervision or engineering.
Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Maintain accurate production, materials, and quality records.
