Gemstar Manufacturing is seeking a Rotocast Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Cannon Falls, MN. You will set up and run rotocasting equipment to produce high‑quality parts, load molds, monitor cycles, and perform quality inspections per specifications.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining records, and supporting onboarding of new team members. The role is full‑time on‑site with overtime as needed, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Experience with resins, plastics, molds, ovens, or other thermal processing equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate rotocasting machines, molds, ovens, cooling systems, and related production equipment.
• Prepare and measure resins, powders, additives per formulas and work instructions.
• Input proper operational cycles into computer per work order instructions.
• Load and secure molds onto rotocasting equipment and verify setup.
• Monitor and adjust cycle times, temperatures, rotation speeds for quality.
• Perform demold, trim, and finish molded components.
• Perform inspections using calipers, gauges and other measuring tools.
• Identify defects and communicate quality issues to supervision or engineering.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Maintain production, material usage, and quality records.
