Job summary

GFL Industries is hiring a Roll-Off Driver to safely collect waste across routes. The role requires a CDL, the ability to perform daily safety inspections, and to maintain accurate service records. The driver will communicate issues to supervisors and follow all safety regulations on the job site.

You will operate roll-off equipment, adhere to routing standards, and participate in safety meetings. Overtime may be required; benefit from a comprehensive package and company support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• CDL preferred/required (commercial driver license)
• Ability to meet safety sensitive criteria
• Safe driving and operation of roll-off equipment
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to complete basic route documentation

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete reports
• Notify supervisor of vehicle/mechanical issues immediately
• Maintain route quality as directed by management
• Follow safety standards and company rules for vehicle operation
• Keep vehicle clean and maintain records of services
• Escalate safety concerns to supervisor and attend safety meetings
• May work overtime as needed
