Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or higher in nursing; RN licensure in TX or reciprocity.
• 2+ years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Texas RN licensure or reciprocity within 90 days.
• Unit-specific orientation program within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor all new and experienced staff.
• Ensure coverage and staffing levels for all units.
• Coordinate orientation and department training.
• Plan, direct and provide quality patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and document effects.
