Job summary

Chelsea Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations on the 11 pm to 7 am shift. This role provides clinical oversight, ensures regulatory compliance, and guides nursing staff to deliver safe, compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Virginia RN license.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• At least 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No supervisory experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, residents, families, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
