Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a night Per Diem Registered Nurse to support patients in our residential detox facility. You will conduct admissions, administer medications, and monitor withdrawal under the Director of Nursing’s supervision.

Qualifications include an unrestricted NH RN license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and ability to work evenings or weekends. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to coordinate care with in-house staff and outside

Qualifications

NH RN license required.
CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications required.
Background checks (NH) and driving record checks required.
Prefer 1 year detox/med-surge nursing experience.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Complete admissions procedures and related paperwork.
Administer and read tuberculosis skin tests.
Document nursing assessments, treatment plans and orders.
Provide direct patient care in the Detox unit under supervision.
Monitor for withdrawal signs and changes in condition.
Maintain medication administration records and dispense meds.
Develop treatment plans with individuals to address medical issues.
Communicate with in-house and external professionals for quality care.
Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment and strong professional boundaries.
