Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the night shift in Colorado. This PRN role requires delivering comprehensive patient assessments, planning and implementing care, administering medications, and educating patients and families while coordinating with the care team.

Required RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly update them based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
