Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a RN Labor and Delivery PRN, Nights. The role involves providing patient-centered nursing care within obstetrics, labor and delivery, and nursery settings, following physician orders and established protocols.

You will educate families, monitor fetal well-being, assist with procedures and pain management, and participate in code team activities as needed. Competent, compassionate care and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations.
• RN license in state or compact license required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
