Job summary

Oak Plains Academy in Ashland City, TN seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) in a 98-bed residential program for youth with emotional/behavioral challenges. You will administer meds, assess patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a structured setting.

The role includes a $10k sign-on bonus, excellent benefits, shift differential, and 6-week self-scheduling with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited RN program and TN license or eligibility.
• Preferred experience with children/adolescents.
• Preferred experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
• Orientation is required (two-week).

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to patients in treatment programs.
• Performs ongoing patient assessment and updates care plans.
• Administers medications and documents data per policy.
• Participates in formulation and implementation of individual care plans.
• Maintains safety practices and roles as a staff role model.
