The role emphasizes student-friendly patient education and collaboration with surgeons, therapists, and families to support recovery and functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood product infusions.
• Manage pain using IV, oral, and PCA methods.
• Provide oxygen therapy, wound care, and incision management.
• Set up and monitor traction; maintain orthopedic equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, therapists, and families to create care plans.
• Support patient education to promote recovery and long-term health outcomes.
