Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Neurosurgery/Neurology nights in Florence, SC. This on-site role requires an active RN license in SC or a multi-state compact and a BSN? The RN will perform assessments, care planning, hourly rounds, and participate in evidence-based practice while growing professionally within a supportive hospital system.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional unit certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs based on history, examination and diagnostic data.
• Provides nursing interventions aligned with Plan of Care and physician orders.
• Conducts hourly rounds and fosters a caring, respectful environment for patients and families.
• Engages in evidence-based practices and supports department growth and hospital initiatives.
• Demonstrates professional growth through goal setting and educational offerings
