Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team, providing comprehensive patient care across assessments, planning, interventions, and education. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires an RN license, Associate's in Nursing, and clinical experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible in Georgia.
• Experience in acute care nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments and interpret data.
• Proficiency with standard computer systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement SMART care plans with input from patients and families.
• Administer medications and IV therapies with safety and accuracy.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatments and discharge plans.
• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice.
