Merit Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process in a fast-paced setting.

You will coordinate care, assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective outcomes. The role emphasizes education for patients and families, adherence to infection control, and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure is required and must be in good standing.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement.
• Able to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per organizational policies and nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety.
