Job summary

OhioHealth’s Neuro Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7 acute care setting. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks per the Nurse Practice Act within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN is required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to interventions and revises plan of care as needed.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve quality, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Operations - Supports daily unit operations and safety initiatives.
