Job summary

OhioHealth Neuro Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 setting. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications include a current Ohio RN license (or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and a BSN requirement after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - perform initial and ongoing health status assessments and planning.
• Implementation/Evaluation - execute nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes with the care team.
• Leadership - participate in process improvement for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Operations - support 24/7/365 department operations.
