Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Louisiana.
• Current BLS certification required.
• PALs certification due within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in Mothers/Baby or postpartum care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to mothers and newborns using the nursing process.
• Assist with breastfeeding support and mother–baby education.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and document thoroughly.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
