Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. Shift: night, 11:15pm–7:15am, 32 hours per week with weekend/holiday rotation.

SK3 is a 21-bed unit serving bariatric, orthopedic, general, gynecologic, and plastic surgery patients with telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, teaching patients and families, and providing leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt by signing a statement if hired.

Responsibilities

Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
Participate in patient and family teaching.
Provide leadership by working cooperatively with the nursing and patient care teams.
Deliver care appropriate to the age group of the patient served.
