Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Round Rock is seeking a Registered Nurse for 3West, night shift 7p-7a, 28-bed telemetry with cardiac focus. Responsibilities include detailed clinical assessments, creating and evaluating care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safety, quality, and timely care.

Qualifications include RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS (or obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• RN license (active or pending with permitted start date)
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of start
• Experience in telemetry or hospital nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans
• Educate patients, families, and staff; document learning needs
• Delegate tasks and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans to achieve outcomes
• Support care coordination and patient throughput through teamwork
