Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment on a 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit. Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with patient ratios of 1:5 for RNs and 1:10 for Patient Care Techs, enabling safe, high-quality care.

You will care for orthopedic, general surgery, urology, podiatry, dialysis, telemetry, geriatric and general medical-surgical patients, with strong clinical support and engaged leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments following practice standards using sound clinical judgment.
• Develop and evaluate individualized nursing care plans and adjust as needed.
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families and staff.
• Manage emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and comfort.
