Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Obstetrics/Gynecology department to join a 36-hour week schedule (36 hours per week). The role involves 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts three nights per week with rotating weekends, delivering care in a mother-baby setting with bedside newborn care and a level 2 nursery when needed.

Responsibilities include applying evidence-based practices, clinical nursing processes, and coordinating with the care team while maintaining safety and accurate

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) for patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process: assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and promotes patient-centered care.
• Administers medications and therapies as per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Possibly floats to other units to meet patient needs.
