Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Louisville is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts. You will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven experience in direct patient care and medical/surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote self-management and recovery.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring to observe cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to any abnormalities.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety throughout their care journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust medical and surgical nursing care plans.
• Deliver specialized nursing care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric patients.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
