Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in the United States.
Accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proven experience in direct patient care and medical/surgical nursing.
Strong knowledge of patient advocacy principles and nursing care standards.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and wound care.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote self-management.
Utilize telemetry monitoring to observe cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities.
Advocate for patients’ rights and safety throughout their care journey.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans.
Deliver specialized nursing care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric patients.
Document patient information accurately and maintain regulatory compliance.
