Job summary

Vail Health in Vail, CO seeks a Registered Nurse, Level II for the Night shift in the Family Birth Center, caring for antepartum, labor, postpartum and the Level II Nursery with OB and Neonatal support. You will deliver compassionate, family‑centered care, educate families, and coordinate with the care team.

Requirements include CO RN license, BLS and ACLS, Associate Degree in Nursing, and one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical nursing experience.
• Colorado RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient flow to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Triage incoming patient requests for services.
• Educate patients to facilitate plan of care and informed choices.
• Delegate care per Colorado statutes.
• Perform nursing assessments with critical thinking and prioritization.
• Administer medications and assist procedures as needed.
• Coordinate patient care with other providers and teams.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Deliver patient-centered care and advocacy for safety.
