CHRISTUS Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Spohn South Labor and Delivery, Antepartum and Obstetrical Emergency Departments in Corpus Christi, TX. The role involves independent nursing care in a high-acuity maternity setting, leveraging cross-trained teams and 24-hour CRNA coverage to ensure a safe, patient-centered birth experience.

Requirements include a BSN (preferred), 1 year perinatal experience, BLS, TX RN license or compact license, and certifications such as NRP and ACLS.

Qualifikationen

• BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in perinatal nursing preferred
• BLS required
• RN license in Texas or compact
• Perinatal RN residency or recent practice preferred
• NRP certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications (FHM) required

Aufgaben

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors outcomes.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Addresses learning needs and educates patients and families.
• Delivers care in accordance with ANA standards and departmental protocols.
