Job summary

Lakeland Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks an experienced FT RN House Supervisor (Acute) to lead nursing operations on the 7p-7a shift. The role focuses on staffing, patient safety, and collaboration with treatment teams in a pediatric/adolescent behavioral health setting.

Qualified candidates will hold an MO RN license, have BSN preferred, and bring 1+ year of RN experience with leadership exposure, ideally in psychiatric or recovery programs.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current registered nursing license in MO required.
• 1+ year of RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year RN experience in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
• Some experience as a charge RN or other leadership position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and staffing for the facility.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to regulations and standards.
• Coordinate care with physicians and treatment teams.
• Mentor and lead shifts, ensuring staff orientation and competency.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate nursing records.
• Respond to census and acuity changes and adjust staffing accordingly.
