Job summary

Acadia Healthcare’s Lakeland Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks an RN Nurse Manager (Acute) to lead nursing operations for children and adolescents. The role ensures high-quality care, patient safety, and collaboration with treatment teams in a dynamic behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate has a BSN or higher, an active MO RN license, and at least two years’ administrative or charge RN experience, with a focus on staffing, policy implementation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred.
• Currently licensed RN in Missouri.
• Minimum two years of administrative/charge RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON/CNO with directing, planning and supervising nursing operations.
• Oversee delivery of behavioral health nursing services with a professional attitude.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration to meet residents' needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and nursing practice standards.
• Manage census and acuity, allocating nursing resources accordingly.
• Recruit, hire and train new staff; identify educational needs and develop programs.
• Develop and implement facility policies; prepare status and quality reports.
• Perform administrative functions such as budget planning and expenditures.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
