Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking an RN for obstetrics/unit to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. The role involves assessing patient needs, planning care, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The Nurse will work nights (3x12 hour shifts) on-site, with competitive base pay and shift differentials to recognize evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN licensure or eligible under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and nursing needs, set goals, and prescribe nursing actions.
• Assess and reassess pain using appropriate tools and document findings.
• Educate patients about medications and their side effects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain standards of nursing care and comply with hospital policies.
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Record observations accurately and communicate with physicians and nurses.
• Provide quality care within a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient satisfaction.
