Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the EmPATH Psychiatric Observation Unit on a night shift. This full-time role operates on a 3 x 12-hour schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a focus on acute psychiatric care and patient-centered collaboration.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN, active RN license in Virginia, and BLS certification with ACLS within 6 months. The unit emphasizes safety, teamwork, and therapeutic care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs biopsychosocial assessments on patients.
• Provides medications and treatments to patients.

• Works with the interdisciplinary team to meet treatment goals.
• Reports to the Clinical Director.
• May float to Behavioral Health Emergency Department PODs.
