Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting

• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies
• Documents findings accurately and reports changes to care team
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency
• Collaborates to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care
• Maintains infection control protocols and monitors equipment as needed
• Participates in audits and compliance checks to ensure standards
• Maintains professional development to stay current with nursing standards
