OU Health in Edmond, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ED Observation unit on a full-time night shift. The RN I will provide direct patient care, monitor vitals, administer medications, assist physicians, and document responses to treatments while upholding OU Health's values.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure safety and quality of care, support discharge planning, and pursue ongoing professional development through certifications and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• 0-3 years of patient care RN experience.
• Current RN license and BLS certification upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Align with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Manage assigned patient or group of patients.
• Document patient responses and changes to orders.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
• Monitor physiological data and intervene when needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Initiate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
• Provide safe, competent patient care.
• Communicate care plans to patients and families.
• Refer care needs to appropriate staff.
