Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department to provide comprehensive bedside care during night shifts. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor reactions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license with BLS, and at least 1 year of ED experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of RN ED experience.
Active RN license and BLS certification required.
Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
