Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Corrections contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The role is nights, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment, with local and traveler-friendly options.

You will conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care in a secure setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Valid RN license with willingness to obtain SC licensure or compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and modify plans based on patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including observations, treatments, and responses to care
• Supervise other nursing staff, such as LPNs or CNAs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a secure, structured environment—providing care that truly matters
• Ensure patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation through quality nursing care
